What “I” Saw Last Week (swallows, goslings, spring leaves, herps…)

Top Photo: Tree swallow delivers grass stems to nest in wetlands.

Nothing but photos of a handful of sightings from the previous week.

It’s sometimes difficult to differentiate the sexes among tree swallows.
Looks like the female bringing in more grass for the nest.
Lots of work to do.
What do you see?
Six Canada goose goslings.
Fresh out of the nest.
Caked with mud after first swim in wetlands.
Under the “Forest Pansy” tunnel in Catch the Wind.

Marbled salamander.
Looks to be a female marbled salamander.
