Two Herons

A blue heron and a green heron.

 

Great blue heron.
Great blue heron’s right side.
From the front.
Green heron on willow stump.
Green heron looking back at me.
Green herons are not always out in the open and easily spotted.
This immature green heron, which happens to be in the Black Bear Enclosure, is excited.

Great blue herons are here year round, green herons usually depart towards the end of September.
