If you’d like to subscribe to carolinabirds and get daily reports on the birds being seen in both North and South Carolina, here’s where to do it: http://www.duke.edu/~cwcook/cbirds.html
If you want to know what birds are being seen in the Carolinas this is a good place to find out. Sometimes the discussions are about more than just the birds being seen in the area, heated discussions at times, but just ignore what you don’t want to read.
Enjoy!
