The one active nest we had last week, is still the only active nest. The Parking Deck West (PKW) nest box has three bluebird eggs inside its pine needle cup.

The Cow Pasture, Explore the Wild, Sailboat Pond, Into the Mist and Parking Deck East (PKE) nest boxes are all empty, no activity.

There are three bluebird eggs in the nest at the nest box on the west side of the parking deck.

I believe the eggs are being incubated. The female bluebird was nearby watching as we peeked into the nest and though she wasn’t sitting on the eggs when we first arrived she flew down to check on the eggs as we left.

The nest at PKW looks to be the final nest of the season. We will, however, continue to make weekly inspections of all of the 6 nest boxes.
