At least one snapping turtle and a bunch of Yellow-bellied sliders enjoy the afternoon on what is apparently every body’s favorite rocks. Basking perches can be at a premium on sunny days.

Probably be easier to anchor a few logs out there!!

Looks like they need some more rocks to perch on. Some of those turtles are huge!

They’re out there again this afternoon (5/19)!!
Maybe we SHOULD throw a few more of those boulders our there. The water’s a little high right now and many of their (the turtles) usual basking logs and stumps are submerged.
