Posted by gregdodge September 30, 2011 2 Comments A Fly, a Spider, and Frank A Giant Robber Fly waits in ambush for some unsuspecting insect to come close enough to be snatched out of the air. This crab spider, sitting atop a fence post, appears to be a White-banded Crab Spider (Misumenoides formosipes). These spiders can also be yellow and are apparently highly variable. The spider caught the sharp eye of Master Teacher Courtney as she walked by the Farm Yard. Frank, Exhibits Director, poses with his little friend the crab spider. The End
