Now that the leaves are actually falling you can pick them up and compare the different species in-hand. See how many different kinds of leaves you can find. Some are tiny while others, even those from the same tree, may be quite large. And, there’s nothing quite like walking along on a crisp, clear day with the leaves swishing and crunching beneath your feet.
